It's time to start thinking about packing a shoebox for the Blythswood Care shoebox appeal.
Blythswood deliver shoeboxes packed for people of all ages. This year they hope to be able to deliver to Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine. The Blythswood Care website has everything you need to know about packing a shoebox or drawstring bag, along with videos, filler ideas and knitting patterns. Here is the checklist of the sort of things you can pack in your box.
If you use a fabric drawstring bag the maximum size is 400mm x 300mm.
There are leaflets and a few empty shoeboxes in the welcome area of the church, but if you are struggling to find a shoebox or would like more information ring Gill Keens on . Your boxes should be at the church by the end of October.
