At this time of year members of St Mark's and our uniformed groups meet for breakfast before the morning service when we bring gifts for Santa to take to East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS) for the families that they are helping.
This year the breakfast will be at 9.15 am on Sunday December 15th. To make it easier for those at ESDAS please do not wrap your gifts.
If you want to know more about the work of ESDAS the web address is https://www.esdas.org.uk/
Thank you for your generosity
Below is a simple Santa craft which you could use to make Christmas tags, a Christmas garland or hang on the tree,
They all use a circle as the basis.
To make the Santa above
Cut a circle of white card, a piece of red about half the size of the circle and use cotton wool for the beard. Add a white band and bobble on the end of the hat.
For the Robin
Cut a circle of red card. About half the circle in brown for the head, a band of white and a yellow beak. Stick on brown piece, then white, then beak and add two legs.
You can use the basic circle for other ideas as well and make a garland
