Pointers for worship from July 25th

From Monday 19th July Covid-19 rules will be relaxed in England, however due to the  increase in cases we would like to take a cautious approach so here are some suggestions we  would ask you to follow :-

1. Masks. Given the warnings about rising infection numbers and people's anxiety about going from full precautions to no precautions overnight we would ask that you consider continuing to wear a mask during the service and while moving around in church for just now.
2. Spacing. While we are allowed to sit beside each other on the 25th could we also suggest that we still spread out as much as we can.
3. Hugging. There will be no act of the Peace during the service. Please do not rush up to people and hug them without first asking if they are comfortable with this.
4. Coffee after the Service. we will continue to have coffee after worship but please avoid moving round all the tables to greet everyone; please be restrained for the sake of others who may be more nervous about social mixing.
The good news is from the 25th July (the first Sunday after 19th July) Singing in Worship. is allowed again!
