Mulberry Bush

Here we go round the mulberry bush,
The mulberry bush,
The mulberry bush.
Here we go round the mulberry bush
On a cold and frosty morning.

This is the way we wash our face,
Wash our face,
Wash our face.
This is the way we wash our face
On a cold and frosty morning.

This is the way we brush our hair,
Brush our hair,
Brush our hair.
This is the way we brush our hair
On a cold and frosty morning.

This is the way we brush our teeth,
Brush our teeth,
Brush our teeth.
This is the way we brush our teeth
On a cold and frosty morning.

This is the way we put on our clothes,
Put on our clothes,
Put on our clothes.
This is the way we put on our clothes
On a cold and frosty morning.

Here we go round the mulberry bush,
The mulberry bush,
The mulberry bush.
Here we go round the mulberry bush
On a cold and frosty morning.

This is an action song but may help you when you do wash your face, clean your teeth, brush your hair and get dressed every day. I am not sure how you sing, ‘This is the way we clean our teeth’ with a toothbrush and paste in your mouth…maybe you have to sing it in your imagination!!! Or get mum or dad to sing it for you.

While singing the first (and last) verse, hold hands in a circle, and move around. In the next verses, you could keep moving around in a circle, but also pretend to do the activities mentioned.

I think we should do all these things every days and not just wait for cold frosty mornings…our faces would be grubby, our teeth might fall out and our hair full of knots!!! And you have to get dressed everyday too! I am not sure I have ever seen a Mulberry Bush!!  I guess we can go round any bush or just hold hands and go round and round in a circle!  Don’t get dizzy!
